Can you arrange boat trips for larger groups of more than 12 people in Copenhagen?

Yes, absolutely! At Duffy Boats we specialise in larger events with multiple boats. We typically combine 2–5 (or more) Duffy boats so the whole group can sail side by side. This gives space for 20, 30, 50+ people while still maintaining the cosy, intimate atmosphere in each boat. Perfect for larger group boat rentals in Copenhagen.

How does it work in practice when we are many people – do we sail in convoy?

Yes, exactly! Our captains coordinate so the boats sail close together as a small flotilla. You can communicate across the boats via phone or walkie-talkie (we’ll help with that), and you choose the route yourselves. It feels like one big experience, but each boat has its own private atmosphere with sofas, tables and heating – ideal for large group boat rental in Copenhagen.

What does an arrangement with multiple boats for larger groups cost?

The price depends on the number of boats, time of day, duration and any extras (e.g. captain, catering, music). As a rule of thumb: the more boats, the better the discount per boat. Can we bring food, drinks or other catering on board for larger events?

Yes, we work with several suppliers and can help with everything from picnic baskets and catering to beer/wine packages and full-service dining. For larger events we often arrange direct delivery to the quay or coordinate with you so you can enjoy the party without any hassle. Just tell us your wishes – we have experience with both simple and luxurious setups.

How far in advance should we book larger events with multiple boats?

The earlier the better – especially during peak season (summer, Christmas and autumn light festivals). The most popular time slots book up quickly for larger groups and events on the water in Copenhagen. We recommend booking at least 4–8 weeks in advance, but we can also help with shorter notice if boats are available. Call us 24 hours a day – we will always find a solution!
